Native Ad Unit

A native ad is a type of advertisement that is designed to look like regular content inside an app or website.

Instead of showing up as a pop-up or banner which can feel annoying or out of place, a native ad blends in with the design and layout of the app since it uses the same fonts, colors, and style as the surrounding content shown to users.

That’s why it’s called "native" — because it looks like it naturally belongs there.

What is a Native Ad?

Native ad units allow you to create ad placements that seamlessly blend with your app’s content by flexibly combining images, text, advertiser name, and logo into a customized, natural-looking UI.

That's why it’s called "native" because it feel like part of the content, and users often find them more engaging and less disruptive.

How to use Native Ad Units

You can customize native ad units freely depending on the type of ad you want to show.

Here’s an example:

Example 1: Creating a Banner-style Native Ad You can receive ad materials from the advertiser and create your own banner template that matches your app’s UI. Instead of getting a full image like the one on the left below, you can also request individual creative elements from the advertiser and turn them into a template.

Example 1: Creating a Banner-style Native Ad
