Creating Audience Targeting
Audience targeting lets you define user groups based on their attributes (like age or language) and sell those targeting options to advertisers. Here's how to create both Auto-generated and Custom targeting.
Creating Auto-generated Targeting(Age)
Go to Audience Targeting and click Create Targeting on the top right.
Under Auto-generated Tags, click the Age card. (These are default system options and the names can’t be changed.)
Choose an age group (e.g., 18–20).
This group targets users aged 18 to 20.
Click "Set Category" to target users aged 18 to 20.
Follow the
SDK Integration Guide
Once SDK integration is complete and at least 100 users match this targeting, the category status will change to "Ready to Sell."
Click "Start Selling" to make this targeting option available to advertisers.
For more details on how to sell targeting options, click “Learn More” next to the settings.
Creating Auto-Generated Targeting(Language )
You can easily create language-based targeting using auto-generated options. Language data is automatically collected from users' device language settings.
Go to Audience Targeting from the left navigation menu and click "Create Targeting" in the top right corner.
From the list of options, choose Auto-Generated Targeting – Language.
Click Language Targeting to open the category setup screen.
Select the Korean category. A modal will appear—review the details and click "Create Category".
Once all categories are added, you’ll see them listed as “In Progress.”
You can connect your SDK by following the SDK Integration Guide. Once 100 or more users are collected for the targeting category, the targeting setup will be marked as "Ready to Sell", just like in the image below.
Selling Audience Targeting
When a targeting category is ready to sell, you need to click the "Start Selling" button to make it available to advertisers.
By clicking on a ready-to-sell category, you can see details such as the total users and users in that category.
After clicking Start Selling, the category status will change to Selling.
Advertisers will then see the targeting options you set when booking campaigns.
Creating Custom Targeting
You can create targeting categories not covered by the autocomplete options.
For example, create a 30s age group targeting by defining the category as users aged 30 to under 40. You can set filters based on your definition.
Detailed setup instructions are available in the video below.
