Interstitial Ad Unit

What is a full-screen ad?

Full-screen ads are ads that take over the entire screen of the app or website.

They're typically shown during natural pauses in user activity — like when an app is loading or between game levels.

Because they cover the whole screen, these ads tend to have higher visibility, better click-through rates, and stronger conversion performance.

How to Create a Full-Screen Ad Unit

To create a full-screen ad unit, scroll down on the Ad Products menu and click the Create New Unit button on the right.

On the Create Ad Unit screen, follow these steps:

  1. Select the platform and app where the ad unit will be used.

  2. Name your ad unit so it’s easy to identify later.

  3. Under Ad Format, select the Interstitial format.

  4. Scroll down the screen to set the ad size. Choose between 360 x 360 dp or 320 x 480 dp.

    • For the 360 x 360 dp size, you can design the screen with a title, description, and a CTA (Call to Action) button.

    • For the 320 x 480 dp size, it’s a full-image type that fills the entire screen with the ad image.

Once done, click the 'Create Ad Unit' button at the bottom right to finish creating the ad unit.
