How to Set Targeting Options for Your Ad Product

When booking a campaign, you can add extra targeting beyond the required targeting. Use this feature to set additional targeting categories for your ad product exposure.

  1. Go to the 'Ad Products' tab and select the product to edit. Click the '…' button in the product details and choose 'Edit Product'.

  1. Scroll down to 'Advanced Settings' and set the 'Targeting Categories for Exposure' and ‘Mandatory Targeting Categories’.

    • Targeting Categories for Exposure: Select categories to show to advertisers. For CPP products, enable budget and targeting settings in Settings > Advanced.

    • Mandatory Targeting Categories: Set categories advertisers must select. (See: Learn about Mandatory Targeting)

  1. After setting the targeting categories, click 'Save' to finish the update. You can review the 'Targeting Categories for Exposure' and 'Mandatory Targeting Categories' in the ad product detail model.

  2. Once set, these targeting categories will appear as options during campaign booking, with mandatory categories marked as 'Required'.
