# How to Check Your Advertising ID (Ad ID: IDFA / ADID)

This guide explains how to find your **advertising identifier** on both **iPhone** (IDFA) and **Android** (ADID) devices.

### iOS (iPhone) – Check Your Ad ID (IDFA)

1. Open the **Settings** app on your iPhone.
2. Go to **Privacy & Security**.
3. Scroll down and tap **Tracking**.
4. Make sure that **app tracking permissions** are enabled.
5. Download the app below to view and copy your IDFA:\

> **Note:**\
> Due to Apple’s **App Tracking Transparency (ATT)** policy, users must grant permission for apps to track their activity.\
> If tracking is disabled, access to the IDFA may be limited.

### Android – Check Your Ad ID (ADID)

1. Open the **Settings** app on your Android device.
2. Go to **Security & Privacy** (or similar — may vary by device).
3. Tap **Other Privacy Settings**.
4. Select **Ads**.
5. You’ll see your **Advertising ID** listed here.
6. Optionally, download an app to easily copy your ADID to the clipboard.
